LOCATION: US - NYC - Staten Island office will be moving to New Jersey

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and coordinate specifically nominated Safety agreements and/or Life raft rental agreements. Assist and follow up Life raft exchanges.
  • To coordinate all service orders, receive and register enquiries/orders in the system and ensuring all the information is correct.
  • To use customer specific due date information related to pro-actively promote our products and services to any customer and to meet our contractual obligations for signed customers
  • Quotations and inquiry feedback to Customer Services for service work
  • Producing preliminary work orders /service charts for service jobs
  • Production of service reports through the designated system tool(s)
  • Preparation of input for invoicing for Safety Services in assigned territory, including tax verification
  • Have a technical / mechanical aptitude and understanding of service operations
  • All other administrative tasks in the Safety Service Department including department correspondence, assisting with inventory management and purchasing
  • Producing preliminary work orders /service charts for service jobs
  • Assisting the life raft department with certification of rafts, both in-house and documentation-wise
  • Assisting Safety Manager in controlling administration of all in-house and subcontractor services
  • Purchasing of equipment for life raft department and service department, ensuring certification for equipment is up-to-date
  • Assist in administration duties for Safety Services and other areas of Operations as assigned

 Knowledge and Experience

Education/Experience:

·High school diploma or equivalent

·At least 2 years of related experience with demonstrated ability

·Good command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines and follow through on work assignments

·Good judgment and ability to keep information strictly confidential

·Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of the organization

·Advanced PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing

Great human relations skills to deal effectively with co-workers, visitors, and customers in person or on the telephone

·Careful attention to detail, office duties, agreeable acceptance, and prompt execution of all work assignments and job tasks

·Prompt and regular attendance at work

·Ability to operate standard office equipment, including multi-line telephone system
