Supply Logistics Officer

 

Main responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the supply chain operations and management of the flow of products, spares and equipment in and out of the site.

The incumbent must ensure that orders from our Customer Service teams are handled correctly and in a timely fashion, ensuring supply continuity and supporting “On-Time, In-Full” (OTIF) delivery performance to our site network and our customers in that country location.

Supply Logistics Coordination

Ensure continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with all stakeholders in the logistics chain in relation to the order at hand, including:

Purchasing & Supply Chain teams

Customer Service

Warehouse staff

Transport service operators (internal & 3rd party providers)

Expeditors (including customs clearance specialists)

Continuous follow up on quotes (freight, delivery, duties) and orders with sub-status ‘Awaiting approval’ within the IFS ERP system

Delivery Logistics Coordination

Provide complete and updated information to warehouse concerning time and place of delivery

Create required customs documentation for each delivery

Create the Port Entrance Permit and get it approved by the Agents per delivery

Coordinate preparation of documentation required for export shipments

Supply Customer Service with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e. charges, delays, availability etc.

Prepare cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed

Process shipments and timely update within IFS, including

Add relevant charges on freight, delivery and/or import or export costs

Prepare pick lists for warehouse operations

Upon completion of delivery to the customer, scan Delivery Notes for filing in IFS

Close out delivery orders in IFS to allow for invoice creation

Supporting the Supply Planners in process orders (PO) including non-available items in IFS:

Monitor and maintain ETA dates for incoming PO’s

Receive PO’s supporting an order

Job Requirements:

Mandatory requirements

Minimum Diploma education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a professional certification from APICS/CIPS/SLA/SIPMM/SIMM.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations in either a 3PL/4PL, shipping or logistics company.

Demonstrate strong understanding of distribution logistics within Asia Pacific.

Knowledge in managing Dangerous Goods (DG) logistics (IATA DGR and/or IMDG).

Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

Good written and oral skills in English.

Additional Preferences

Proficiency in one of the following enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Sage or IFS.

Knowledge in continuous improvement methodology and tools.

Experience in data analytics or use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.

Experience in Survitec related markets and business sector.
