This position is responsible for the coordination of logistics operations regarding the delivery of products, spares and life raft equipment in and out of the site.
The incumbent must ensure that orders from both Customer Service and Service Administration teams are handled correctly and in a timely fashion, ensuring supply continuity and supporting “On-Time, In-Full” (OTIF) delivery performance to our site network and our customers in Singapore.
Delivery Logistics Coordination:
Ensure continuous communication on the availability and lead times of products with all stakeholders in the logistics chain in relation to the order at hand, including:
Purchasing & Supply Chain teams
Transport service operators (internal & 3rd party providers)
Provide complete and updated information to warehouse concerning time and place of delivery.
Create required customs documentation for each delivery.
Create the Port Entrance Permit and get it approved by the Agents per delivery.
Coordinate preparation of documentation required for export shipments.
Supply Customer Service with necessary information concerning delivery status of orders i.e. charges, delays, availability etc.
Prepare cost pricing information towards final invoicing of service performed
Process shipments and timely update within IFS, including
Add relevant charges on freight, delivery and/or import or export costs
Prepare pick lists for warehouse operations
Upon completion of delivery to the customer, scan Delivery Notes for filing in IFS
Close out delivery orders in IFS to allow for invoice creation
Supporting the Supply Planners in process orders (PO) including non-available items in IFS:
Monitor and maintain ETA dates for incoming PO’s
Receive PO’s supporting an order
NITEC/Diploma in Logistics Services or similar qualification. Professional certification from SIPMM, SIMM or SLA is also acceptable.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations, especially in last-mile delivery.
Knowledge in handling Dangerous Goods (DG) logistics (IATA DGR and/or IMDG).
Computer literate, with demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
Good written and oral skills in English.
Proficiency in one of the following enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as SAP, Oracle Netsuite, Sage or IFS
Formal certification in IATA DGR and/or IMDG would be highly desirable.
Knowledge in continuous improvement methodology and tools.
Experience in Survitec related markets and business sector.
