  • This role has overall responsibility as Country Manager with a balanced focus on sales and operations in the country. The business has functional management for key areas and operates in a matrix environment.
  • Actively participate in development of Survitec group’s regional and global strategy, setting of annual goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement China plans in accordance with above
  • Promote Survitec group’s full products to the market and offer support or undertake commercial and technical promotion to customers as needed to achieve the preferred supplier’s status
  • Implement sales plans and strategies, campaigns, and optimize profit
  • Ensure that the customers receive the right level of services
  • Manage and develop the sales team in the country
  • Develop long term relationships with customers to ensure that the market potential is utilised to its optimum and that the full product/service range is promoted to the market.
  • Optimise profitability and ensure that budgets/forecasts and KPI's are prepared and met.
  • Optimise the functional departments in the business to deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Ensure that legal entities in the China are properly governed incl. meeting statutory requirements.
  • Develop a motivated and efficient organisation in line with company values, leadership principles and other elements in Survitec group governance framework.
  • Ensure an optimal organisational structure.
  • Ensure an environment with focus on learning and growth to ensure development of future talent.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as M&A, due diligence, integration processes and capacity adjustments.
  • Develop business growth opportunities through an understanding of the needs and desires of the local customer base;
  • Ensure contractual obligations and contractual KPIs are met;


  • Recognised degree qualified (or similar) in a relevant discipline (engineering, business management)
  • Influencing skills, the ability to convince others as to the merit of an idea or proposal, to be able to sell the Survitec product and service range.
  • The ability to successfully liaise with Survitec customers and their representatives with regard to their needs;
  • Effectively communicate ideas and information and seek opportunities for innovative approaches to problems;
  • Highly motivated with strong problem solving skills and the proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks while maintaining a consistently high quality of work;
  • Display strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated success at building and maintaining effective relationships with key people and team members, recognising and resolving conflict;
  • Ability to visibly display and promote Survitec Values, to create an environment where employees can develop trust in each other through consistent behaviours and professional conduct;
  • Skilled in computer software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project;
  • Experience in the development of strategies and plans to sustainably grow a business;
  • Experience of growing sales to a large and diverse customer base across one or more industrial business lines through the direct and indirect management of a team of people.
  • Experience in prioritising, planning and reporting on work output.
