Job Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that income and revenue streams are managed correctly and that effective credit control procedures are being operated.
  • Ensure all sales invoices/credit notes are processed accurately, on time and in accordance with accepted revenue recognition principles and presented to the customer on the date of generation.
  • Ensure that accounting system functionality is optimised for the effective and efficient management of the sales ledger.
  • Reconcile the sales ledger control account on a monthly baiss and ensure that all reconciling items are resolved promptly.
  • Manage Credit Control procedures to reflect best practices and are appropriate for both the Company and the interfaces with its customers, recommending changes and improvements to secure improved collections and performance.
  • Responsible for minimizing company’s overdue debt, keeping bad debt too minimum and ensure that payments are being received on time
  • Effectively manage relatonships with existing clients, contractors and credit collection/reporting/insurance agencies.
  • Ensure that the Company’s Quality Management, Accounts Receivable processess are managed, maintained and meet required standards in terms of regulatory requirement

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines with minimum 5 years of experiene in Credit Control or related experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Dynamic, positive attitute with an interest to provide high quality of service to internal and external customers.
  • Excellence organising and executing skills, plan ahead and work in a systematic and organized way and customer-oriented.
  • Excellence interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in ERP based systems.
  • Able to work in a dynamic and diversified environment.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to details and follow through.
  • High level IT capabilities including Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
