Survitec are currently seeking to recruit an Account Manager.  As part of the UK Sales team, you will be required to achieve budgeted sales and gross profit for allocated direct sale and rental accounts within the Energy Sector.  You will also be responsible for ensuring that all customer requirements are met with a high level of efficiency, whilst working will all internal stakeholders to support our service delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Working with major energy accounts that are both regional and internationally focused.
  • Responsible for the achievement and delivery of annual targets in line with associated Key Performance Indicators.
  • Effectively manage all allocated customer accounts.
  • Responsible for contract administration, proposal bids and tender opportunity management.
  • Travel to meet customers face to face is a prerequisite of this role.
  • Build on existing and develop key customer relationships.
  • Understand the market and develop new opportunities and prospect accounts where appropriate.
  • Work with global Key Account Managers, local Account Managers and customer service team to achieve results.
  • Communicate with and support the internal sales colleagues to exceed the level of customer service required.
  • Utilise the company IT tools through CRM to help develop the customer knowledge.
  • Promote all company products where ever possible and provide support to other business units as required.
  • Management of a competent account meeting plan and agreed strategy as set by the Head of sales.
  • Identification and attendance of applicable exhibitions, networking and conference opportunities.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested that are deemed appropriate and commensurate with the level of the post.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Commercial and technical product experience.
  • The ability to work across a spectrum of businesses including up to senior board level.
  • Substantial marine experience in similar sales/technical support roles.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Commercial mind-set and result oriented.
  • Ability to collaborate in teams as well as the ability to work independently by planning and organising own work.
  • Have good organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and targets and have an awareness of the requirement for efficient time management.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Good communicator at all levels.
  • ‘Can do attitude’ combined with high level of ambition and strong desire for success.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written).
  • IT literate with experience in use of Microsoft Office e.g. Excel.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is desirable.
  • UK driving licence required.
