Job Family – Sales

This family is dedicated to driving organic business growth, by generating revenue from new and existing customers and markets. They own and manage all direct sales channels and the bid activity required to serve those channels. They provide deep customer insights back into the Product team, ensuring Survitec deeply understand customer needs.


Job Summary

Reports to Head of Sales Operations. Provides coordination support for the bid process, driving improvement in the use of CRM system data to drive sales activity; support the business review process and analyse deals for the purpose of continuous improvement


Duties and responsibilities

Maintains an in-depth understanding of the sales system, its functionality and acceptable uses

Provides support and advice to sales colleagues, equipping them to get the most out of available data and data management systems, including preparing for account reviews

Works collaboratively to understand and resolve technical or training issues that may affect the quality or availability of up to date customer information in the CRM system

Contributes to reviewing existing Sales operations performance indicators, generating new ideas in support of driving continuous improvement in sales performance and management processes. Creates effective CRM dashboards for tracking and managing pipeline progress

Monitors the quality and integrity of CRM data to identify common performance themes, using these as the basis for communication and advice to sales colleagues to improve regional pipeline management, identifying and tackling instances of non-compliance

Maintains local record management system to coordinate contract and legal proposals in support of the bid process

Uses win/loss information to analyse deals and make opportunity / customer level recommendations for improved pipeline success. Supports sales colleagues to create and prioritise customer win strategies

Prioritises own workflow to ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids

Experience and qualification

Educated to University Degree level

More than 1 year of general experience and understanding of procedures and systems

More than 6 months experience managing, coordinating or influencing the work of others
