MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all aspects of regional demand and supply planning, communication to supply points, local procurement, warehousing and supply chain management, ensuring delivery of all deliverables and agreed KPIs.
• To align with the regional and local commercial teams to understand the requirements and to ensure speedy responses to all inquiries and optimised Customer Order fulfilment against defined metrics.
• Define and develop a regional Supply Chain team to support Americas Regional Supply Chain objectives. Work with the business commercial partners to ensure all inventory is available to support sales plans. Lead team to inventory at regional/local stock locations including product lifecycle process.
• To implement and manage an effective planning and replenishment programme utilising the processes, tools and guidelines as provided by Global Supply Chain. This is to ensure optimised product availability and minimise stock holding. Key metrics will include OTIF delivery, Product Availability, Inventory (Days of Sales), Gross and Net Inventory, Aged Inventory Profile, Slow Moving and Obsolescence in support of the Group Working Capital targets
• To ensure that all purchase orders are placed accurately and on a timely basis with the right delivery schedules to support the regional inventory planning process and product availability leading to customer satisfaction
• To work with Strategic Deliver function to identify the best global and local service providers for inbound and outbound freight including Last MileDelivery and to ensure compliance to all group directives.
• To create best in class, standardised and common processes & procedures for each of the functions, ensure functional alignment globally and to drive continuous improvement
• To work with global, regional and local teams to ensure full alignment and provide the necessary support to each, allowing them to be successful in the delivery of their function and goals
• To ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met within the function
• To ensure full adherence to all Group Policies and Procedures
• To effectively and efficiently manage the regional and local spend and support Global Supply Chain in the creation, implementation and delivery of the global functional strategy, initiatives
• To ensure delivery in full and on time of all cost saving targets
• To measure, monitor and report on performance monthly, using the templates provided, both accurately and on a timely basis.
